FARO Laser Tracker Rentals Available for Measuring and Aligning of Parts, Assemblies, and Machinery

GKS Inspection Services announced it is now offering daily, weekly, and monthly rentals of FARO portable measurement equipment, including the market leading FARO laser tracker.  The FARO Laser Tracker is a precise, portable measurement instrument used for applications such as tool building, calibration, alignments, and inspection.  GKS can also provide an experienced technician to operate the FARO tracker.

The laser tracker performs 3D measurements with a high degree of precision and speed by using an ultra-precise laser beam to measure objects up to 70m away with an accuracy up to 0.1mm at 20 meters range.  The system is rugged enough for a shop-floor environment.  Due to the tracker's spherical measuring volume, dimensional information can be evaluated from almost any perspective.  The extreme portability of the laser tracker means that it can be used to measure and inspect objects on-site, in-process or wherever it is most efficient and cost-effective.

Steve DeRemer, General Manager, said, “This rental program is a great option for knowledgeable customers who need to utilize a FARO tracker for a limited number of projects or for a temporary increase in their workload.”  GKS officials also noted that existing FARO customers are taking advantage of the rental program to fill in when their own tracker systems are sent to FARO for factory calibrations and repairs.
