Platinum FaroArm-- an efficient, flexible measuring tool that allows inspection to take place anywhere, thereby providing the user with increased mobility. It is able to measure parts and search for flaws, according to set specifications from a 3D CAD model or 2D print. The Faro Arm is a portable CMM with a precision of +/-.003”, offering a higher accuracy than other portable measurement tools. It’s ease of use and reliablility have made it the most widely used portable CMM in manufacturing today to give you the confidence to know your fixtures and parts are within tolerance. Make and substantiate improvements in your product quality by generating reports prior to – or even during – assembly.
Faro 12' Platinum Arm-- is very similar to the FaroArm but includes a laser scanner probe in addition to the touch probe. It is useful for measurement of medium to large sized parts having a complex shape or a free form surface. The FaroArm system is delivered with FARO CAM2 CMM measurement software.
Faro LS 880 and Photon systems-- a high accuracy, high speed laser scanner that adapts easily in many environments capable of scanning massive objects and spaces in less time and with greater precision than a conventional scanner. The measuring volume of these scanners is almost limitless. They can be used for scanning ships, roadways, buildings, bridges, and power plants. Applications for these types of large format scanners is growing rapidly and GKS is one of the few companies who provide short or medium term rentals of this specialized equipment.
Faro Laser Tracker-- perform 3D measurements with a high degree of precision and speed by using an ultra-precise laser beam to measure objects (0-72 meter range) and an accuracy of 17 microns over a distance of 20’. Our laser trackers are able to capture and interpret 3D shapes with respect to any chosen coordinate system, making this exciting technology one you should consider.
