GKS to Open in Two New Locations in 2009

MINNEAPOLIS, MN - GKS Inspection Services, a global provider of dimensional inspection, 3D laser scanning, terrestrial scanning, and CT scanning services since 1981, announced that it will be opening service bureau offices in Buffalo/Niagara Falls, NY and in Los Angeles, CA in 2009.

GKS Buffalo engineers have years of experience performing laser scans and using conventional mechanical measuring technologies for diverse industries such as the ones that dominate the Buffalo area: chemical, steel, steel products for the building, industrial, and vehicular markets, and various manufacturing plants for automotive and tool and die products.

GKS Los Angeles will also provide laser scanning, CT scanning, and conventional scanning services, as well as fast, accurate scan data processing in this expanding industrial area.  GKS has much experience in providing extremely detailed data for animation applications for the film industry as well.  The advanced scanning technologies create amazingly realistic characters, movements, and settings.  The full force of GKS support stands behind this location as at all GKS satellite service bureaus found around the world.

GKS Inspection Services, a division of Laser Design Inc, offers laser scanning services. By simply sending a part to GKS, the company will create a very accurate CAD model or inspection report in a short period of time at a reasonable cost.  Alternately, GKS can send trained metrologists to the customer site to perform the project using portable measuring devices.  This allows us to inspect items as they come off the production line or out of their molds.
