Terrestrial Laser Scanning
Long Range laser scanning is a ground-based technique for collecting high-density 3D geospatial data. GKS’ new LS-880 scanner is designed for very large-scale, complex 3D scanning, such as entire buildings, factories, rooms, landscapes, and other big structures and locations, both inside and out.

Rotary Stages: RV-Series
Our rotary stages allow the scanning process to be automated. The RV rotary stages provide high-precision angular positioning as well as high-load capacity and long-term durability. They are constructed of tool steel with a double row of preloaded ball bearings on hardened surfaces allowing for high off-center loads. The worm gear drive is precision ground and hardened to ensure precise rotation and long life.

Flip Plate Fixture
The flip plate fixture is designed for use with the precision rotary stage and improves scanning efficiency through automation. The Flip Plate Fixture mounts to the rotary face. The Flip Plate Frame (see below) mounts repeatably to the Flip Plate Fixture via the magnetic towers. Parts mounted in the frame are scanned on the first side with minimal setup requirements. When the frame is flipped over, the process is repeated.

Flip Plate Frame
The Flip Plate Frame allows easy scanning and rescanning of parts with no setup changes. Simply leave the part fixtured in one frame until the data processing is completed. Use the extra frame to fixture and scan another part in the meantime.
