The system was developed to provide minimal system maintenance costs and maximum availability with maintenance-free micro-focus X-ray tube technology. Extremely small focal points enable razor-sharp projection images on the detector, which is the foundation for high measuring accuracy. The ZEISS METROTOM 800 detector delivers almost 3 million pixels for very high detail recognition. A continuously adjustable travel mechanism enables enlargement of specific areas of the part.

The radiation protective enclosure is made of polymer concrete, a material that maximize protection and minimize environmental impact by avoiding lead.
