The Surveyor Ortho Modeler (OM-3R) system is specifically designed to automatically scan dental models of teeth, dentures, crowns, caps, bite models, etc. used in the orthodontic and dental manufacturing processes.  The OM-3R features three high-precision CNC rotary stages enabling automated digitizing of the dental items quickly and accurately.  The system features a standard-performance computer suitable for scanning.  Select our high-performance computer option for scan data processing using optional Geomagic software. 

The OM-3R system incorporates Laser Design’s patented RPS-450 (SLP-450 laser probe to be available soon) and proprietary Surveyor Scan Control (SSC) software in this fully automated desktop scanning system.  The RPS-450 captures up to 14,400 points per second and features digital (ASCII) coordinate output, a visible beam, a Class II rating, and a long standoff designed to quickly and easily and accurately scan the dental model.  Its large measurement range, enhanced specularity performance, and automatic adjustments for surface color and finish ensure excellent results time after time.
