At Laser Design & GKS we aim to serve technical experts…namely you! We also strive to reach beyond the day-to-day business to serve the community, including our engineering’s future technical experts! This month we are supporting students who are striving to earn their engineering degree, but need the financial help to fulfill their dreams.
A portion of every scanning project completed in May will be donated to a Dunwoody College of Technology scholarship program to an engineering student, with a high GPA who is in need.
Dunwoody is a technical college in Minneapolis, MN that was founded in 1914 and has trained more than 250,000 men and women for technical careers. It was named one of the top technical schools in the United States and is known for an extremely high placement of graduates upon completion of their studies. Additional companies in our industry including Carl Zeiss Metrology, who donated 2 CMM machines, support this learning institute and their students—we are happy to do the same!
